If you're wondering why its been a bit cooler this year...

It's not because global warming is a myth. As the Beeb reports:

Global temperatures for 2008 will be slightly cooler than last year as a result of the cold La Nina current in the Pacific, UN meteorologists have said.
...
But this year's temperatures would still be way above the average - and we would soon exceed the record year of 1998 because of global warming induced by greenhouse gases.


Global climate change is a long-term trend; that doesn't mean it is not a current threat, though.

I'll do my part Clearthought. Time to park the Yukon and start riding the Harley! These gas prices are reason enough to want to cut emissions. I don't get how people can be against reducing emissions. I got kind of excited when someone sent me an email with a video of that guy who claims to make HHO out of tap water to run your car. I thought how brilliant...until I checked it out and he was sued by investors and lost because it was a hoax. Back to the drawing board I guess.
