Blog remodeled!

I finally got the little message on my Blogger Dashboard letting me convert my account to the improved Blogger Beta. As you can see, I have made some major changes to In Perspective, and would like your feedback on anything — content, style, format, adverts, features — pertaining to the blog.

Some things I would like to know:
Do people using Internet Explorer (yuck) see the blog alright?
Is the ad placement good and non-intrusive?
Are there any [coding] errors anyone can find?
Do you think my content, subject matter, frequency of posting, etc. is OK?
Do you like this new template — colours, layout, sections?
And any other feedback...
